The B-RACE STEALTH performance exhaust is
the follow on and supercedes the B-Race SnailIt was developed
initially for the TS1 cylinder kit to make a touring exhaust that does
not require the alteration of any bodywork to fit Series 1,2,or 3
Lambrettas. As with all B-Race exhausts they are designed for maximum
torque allowing for lower revs, but utilising taller gearing. After
the desired power characteristics were achieved the routing on the
scooter was designed. With the Stealth, we designed an exhaust with
unbelievable ground clearance (PHOTO 1). With enthusiastic riding most
exhausts ground out, at best damaging the exhaust, at worst lifting
the rear wheel with the resulting loss of tyre/ Tarmac contact (muscle
exercising!). |

Many Lambretta riders have experienced
this. No degree of
enthusiasm whilst
riding will result in a grounded Stealth exhaust, the stand feet being
the first to suffer road rash. Bear in mind (or not, your choice)
suspension compression under load, gently lower your scoot over until
the first contact with the ground (I suggest onto a piece of old
carpet/ blanket). Engine side, odds on it’ll be the exhaust and most,
the nearside too. I’ve yet to come across another expansion that
doesn’t ground (Slim or Fat).I know our chosen steeds are close to the
ground, but there is the available space to improve, even on

original ground
clearance and increase both torque and horsepower with an
expansion chamber.
Unobtrusive looks,
exceptional ground clearance, outstanding performance figures, highest
quality materials (1.5mm Cr1 mild steel), individually hand-crafted to
your requirements. Our design of slip joints (three in total) ensures
leak free, both air in, or oil residue out. Stainless springs provide
the fastening of joints, whilst the exhaust mounting points feature
secure rubber mounts. This exhaust also continues the B-RACE
application of a sealed mechanical muffler requiring no ìwaddingî or
rivets to vibrate loose. |

The Stealth was
the top performer, and best fitting (a Series 1 and 2 Lambretta, both
fitting to the engine and requiring no cutting of bodywork) in
Scootering Magazine’s exhaust tests for both a piston-ported engine
and on a TS1 engine (issues 253 and 255, July and September 2007).
Following their dyno testing, it was John Balcomb’s (JB Tuning), and
Andy Gillard’s (Editor, Scootering Magazine) first choice of the
tested exhausts and is now fitted to a member of the Scootering team’s
scooter as their choice of touring pipe. This is only part testament.
Every owner of a Stealth exhaust has complimented us on build quality,
fit and performance delivery, whether |

specified for
touring or fast riding, piston-port or reed-valve engine. This is a
high-end quality British product, built to last and delivers all its
promises. We endeavour to continue developing improvements if they can
be found and incorporated within the design to provide you with the
best available.View the pictures, read the Scootering articles and
e-mail us with your enquiries (it will help both of us if you have
your engine specifications to hand and know what it is you would like
us to achieve regarding riding style / power delivery). We look
forward to your enquiries. Thank-you, Simon and Tracy. |
