B-RACE EQUIP
The Under-the kickstart expansion was developed by
myself, with Revival Scooters, to compliment their impressive Lambretta
restorations. The design brief was to develop an exhaust that routed under the
kickstart so that bodywork didn't foul anywhere, look good, and enhance /
utilise the power available from the Gran Turismo with a properly developed
expansion chamber. Added to the brief my own criteria was excellent ground
clearance / cornering ability. After much head scratching the clearance is now
possibly better the ANY exhaust on the market, and unleashes power from the
GT186 cylinder kits that previously was unattainable with the style of
exhaust, (i.e. you don't have to cut bodywork / have a massive can stuck up "in
your face")
This exhaust, as with the rest of my designs, utilises the mechanical muffler
system, so there is no repacking, rattling rivets,
end caps coming loose etc.
As the dyno charts show, over the clubman originally fitted to the demonstrator
bike at Revival Scooters, the B-RACE EQUIPE pipe delivers an extra 5.4hp (up
from 11.8hp to 17.2hp, and this comparison is in third for the clubman and forth
for the EQUIPE. Higher hp readings generally gained in third gear roll-ons)
This pipe is available as a snail type with the mechanical muffler exiting under
the front of the engine, with the same outstanding ground clearance.
